Epic K1T - New Modell

The K1T was developed from our largest K1 hull, the Legacy XXL. We then modified our surfski cockpit to combine the bucket length of the V14 with the larger leg length adjustability of the V5 rail system. Please note the K1T bucket is slightly narrower than the V14 bucket to accommodate the narrower hull. 

The K1T acts essentially like a high volume K1 with all the added benefits of a surfski. Safety is greatly increased over a typical K1, as remounting is possible, and any water can be quickly drained away by the Epic bailer. No more dragging the boat to shore if you capsize or are inundated by a wave! Our standard surfski footboard and pedals will give you the adjustability and steering you are accustomed to. This should provide much better steering control than standard tiller bar setups. 

The K1T will be a great choice for advanced paddlers who often paddle choppier flatwater conditions, as well as for folks who are interested in learning an Olympic style K1- eliminate the fear of capsizing! It will also be a great option for surfski paddlers who like to train for flatwater when they cannot be on the ocean.
