Braca VII Adjustable Paddle
Brača VII is designed with a more extreme 'tear-drop' shape, which facilitates a very powerful catch.
This design maximizes the working blade area when it is only partially submerged in the water, especially at the beginning and the end of the stroke cycle.
Due to the special shape, this blade feels bigger compared to a normal ‘tear-drop’ blade with the same area size. The Brača VI is recommended for adult male athletes, while the smaller, identically shaped Brača VII is recommended for adult women athletes.
This blade has been getting increasingly popular in the past years, due to the fact that Danuta KOZAK (HUN) won two Olympic gold medals in London and three golds in Rio using a Brača VII 745 paddle.
Brača VII 60 is designed for paddlers who prefer a softer blade and shaft.
You can also choose the stiffness of the shaft. We recommend a stiffer shaft for bigger blades but any combination is possible. See the shaft stiffness measurement prodecure and parameter table below.

Please note, the basic paddle does NOT include the Adjustable Shaft System - be sure to add this when selecting the exact parameters and options.
All Brača VII paddles are available with a Metal Adjustable Shaft System or Plastic I. These allow elegant adjustment of overall paddle length (within 5cm range) and blade angle from 0° to 90° right or left. You can also disassemble the paddle into two parts for easy transportation.
Always clean your adjustable shaft regularly!
When used in saltwater conditions, clean with freshwater after each use, otherwise disassemble and clean every three days. Store your adjustable paddle disassembled if not used for more than two weeks!
