The Nalu Supersonic is the result of 15 years continuous development of the sonic line in our portfolio. The sonic started in 2007 and reached now its 5th step of evolution.
The canoe was a very good allrounder since the beginning, but we decided to develop its character more towards more hull speed and efficiency in flat to moderate conditions and add another OC1 model, the SHAKA, for the downwind/surf conditions with more rocker. To offer 2 different, more specific designs is in our opinion necessary for not losing performance by trying to implement to many specifications in one design. All in one would end up as a compromise between hull speed and manoeuvrability.

CARBON COCKPIT: 100% Prepreg carbon – high density foamcore – high pressure/temperature autoclave curing. Glossy painted seamless finish with a matte clear coated 3k Twill carbon cockpit. Simply the best looking canoe out there!

HYBRID: Prepreg glass fiber with carbon reinforcements – high density foamcore – high pressure/temperature autoclave curing. Very durable matte grey seamless painted finish with glossy painted Ama.
